Privacy Policy

This page is the privacy policy for the Android app "Candle Timer". A separate general privacy policy for minimalab is also available, but for this app the contents of this page take precedence.
1. Information We Collect
This app does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. For advertising purposes, Google AdMob may handle the Google Advertising ID and general device information (OS version, device model, etc.); this data is not transmitted to or stored on minimalab's servers and is processed directly by Google AdMob.
2. Data Storage
App data (such as timer settings, session history, and the state of in-app purchases) is stored locally on your device, and is not transmitted to any minimalab server.
3. Android System Backup
If Google's automatic backup feature is enabled on your device, app data may be backed up to your Google account. This is a process that happens entirely between your device and Google's services; minimalab does not access the backup contents.
4. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services. Data handling for each service is governed by its own terms.
- Google AdMob — advertising (free version only)
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — consent UI for compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
- Google Play Billing — processing in-app purchases
Other analytics or crash-reporting SDKs (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, etc.) are not included. Refer to the Google Privacy Policy for details.
5. Advertising
The app displays a banner ad at the bottom of the screen in the free version. Users who have purchased Premium Unlock will see no ads, and no communication with the ads SDK takes place for them.
6. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced inside the app or on this website.
